Meteorological Predictions
Moist weather were predicted to continue along much of the state's eastern regions this week as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the coast.
The following day was predicted as the wettest day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential expected across various areas of both regions.
Safety Concern
Medical authorities warned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the state's northern country region, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
This warning comes after historical occurrences where similar conditions led to substantial respiratory problems in the state.
